Tax and Customs Disputes

Today, the payment of taxes and other mandatory payments is an integral and key element of the relationship between citizens businesses, and the state. This is enshrined in Article 67 of the Constitution of Ukraine: "Everyone shall be obliged to pay taxes and duties in the manner and in the amounts established by law".

Unfortunately, the current tax legislation is not without its shortcomings, as it changes too often and quickly, is confusing, and contains many declarative provisions, which creates many obstacles to the effective functioning of the tax system and transparent business.

The distortion of certain provisions and regulations of the tax and customs legislation by the regulatory authorities creates artificial obstacles to business activity, which not only entails the imposition of fines but also, in most cases, damage to the business reputation and image of the company.

Many examples of this can be seen in the fact that industrial companies, which are real producers with adequate production capacities, are included in the so-called "Register of Risky Payers", which has other negative consequences not only for the payer but also for its business partners - counterparties.

ASTEELEX, represented by its lawyers, has extensive experience and offers comprehensive protection and representation of taxpayers' interests, not only before regulatory authorities but also at the stage of appeals against decisions, actions, and inactions of tax and customs officials before courts of all instances.
